The campaign for passing a Green Amendment (GA) into the Washington State Constitution is gearing up for the 2025 legislative session.
On December 4th, join a Webinar to reconvene and reenergize the coalition of supporting organizations. Maya K. van Rossum, the founder of the national GA movement, will speak about the history and importance of GAs. Current strategies for outreach will be discussed. They hope to have new attendees who will help spread the word and begin preparing to reach out to their legislators.
Legislators around the state have told us that their support is largely dependent on their constituents’ interest in the amendment. They want to hear from their community members that they think the GA is an important tool for protecting our climate from further harm and degradation, and to ensure that all people have a clean, healthy and beautiful environment in which to live and thrive.
