Join us for a series of short videos about how climate change will affect us in Washington State. We will be using videos specific to Washington State made by local climate scientists, tribal leaders and experts.

Afterwards, we’ll discuss how we can promote hope and action on behalf of a healthy environment. Facilitator Lisa Eschenbach has worked as a climate change educator for over twenty years with the National Park Service, NOAA and numerous non-profits. She helped the environmental education association of Washington (E3) and the Governor’s office to push through statewide K-12 climate change education funding. In addition, Robin Briggs and SSCAN co-chair Iris Antman will share some of the work that they have been doing with the District 2 Climate Action Network. Robin is a retired software engineer who works locally doing climate advocacy work. She has a climate newsletter that reports on climate related news in Seattle and King County. She volunteers with a number of different organizations, including 350 Washington Civic Action, the Seattle/King County Climate Advocates’ Hub, and People for Climate Action. Iris is the co-chair of SSCAN and works with Seattle Cruise Control and many other organizations on behalf of a healthy planet.

We hope you’ll join us!
