We want to thank 3rd Act Washington for hosting and organizing the July 2 “Evening with Lifelong Climate Activist Bill McKibben” event! We also want to thank everyone who visited us at our SSCAN table at the event. We were so inspired by the number of people who came to hear McKibben speak and who are committing themselves to protecting our planet and safeguarding our democracy.
As Bill and others have made loud and clear, we must do everything possible to defeat Initiative 2117, which would repeal Washington State’s landmark Climate Commitment Act. If you haven’t already, don’t forget to:
- Take the No on 2117 pledge
- Volunteer for No on 2117
- Talk to 10 family members, friends and neighbors about Initiative 2117
